Welcome to our Muskoka oasis. Our classic log cottage is situated on a small lake, in a private bay, with a sandy shoreline mixed with flat rocks. The property sits on 450 feet of water frontage with a western exposure for afternoon sun and gorgeous sunsets. Muskoka chairs for lounging and an outdoor fire pit for marshmallow roasting and star gazing are beckoning.
The main cottage has 3 bedrooms upstairs, one large room with a queen bed (additional space to add a crib or mattress); and 2 other bedrooms, each with a king bed. There is a 2-piece bathroom on the main floor beside the spacious, upgraded kitchen and open-concept living/dining area with a beautiful view of the lake. Adjoining the main cabin is the breezeway/Muskoka room leading to another "Granny Cabin" with a double bed, the main 3-piece bathroom and washer/dryer. Both bathrooms have been newly renovated with upgraded fixtures. For your enjoyment, WiFi, Bell Fiberoptic and a large, flat-screen TV are all part of the 'cottage experience'.
We also have 2 well-appointed Bunkie cabins. One has twin beds (sleeps
2) and the other, a queen bed and twin beds (sleeps 4) - great for families and/or kids to enjoy a private space.
Recent upgrades include: laminate flooring throughout; a new submersible pump and water system; the electrical service, including professional lighting; the kitchen including stainless appliances, a dishwasher, granite counters and an eating bar; and a spa-like indoor shower. There is also an outdoor shower with hot running water for those adventurous folks!
Welcome to our classic Muskoka retreat. Rental includes all amenities, small appliances, linens, towels, dishes, BBQ with propane, cedar strip canoe, blow up raft, paddle board and paddle boat (renters are required to supply their own PFD's). There is off road parking for 4 vehicles and easy access from the township road. We are located just outside a small village that offers, a library, "corner store" gas station, restaurants, bakery, farmer's market, brewing company, community centre and churches for your vacationing convenience.

Cottage Rental Terms & Conditions Agreement
Property Address: 3718 Brunel Road, Baysville, Ontario
By booking The Logs Cottage, the renter agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Rental Rates & Fees
Minimum Stay: 7 consecutive nights (Summer Months)
Weekly Rental Rate: $4,000 CAD
Additional Nights: $575 CAD per night
Minimum 4 night stay in Spring/Fall Rate: $1900
Additional Nights $475 CAD per night
Mandatory Cleaning Fee: $250 CAD per stay
Minimum Rental Total: $4,250 CAD, before applicable taxes
2. Booking Deposit & Payment
A 20% non-refundable booking deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure the booking.
For a one-week rental, the deposit is $800 CAD.
The deposit is calculated on the rental rate, excluding cleaning fees and applicable taxes.
The deposit is applied toward the total rental cost.
The booking deposit is non-refundable if the renter cancels their reservation, subject to applicable law.
The remaining rental balance and cleaning fee must be paid before check-in.
3. Property Damage & Responsibility
No additional security deposit is required. However, renters are financially responsible for damage caused by themselves or their guests during their stay.
Renters agree to:
Treat the cottage, property, furnishings, and equipment with care.
Pay reasonable repair or replacement costs for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Report any property damage immediately to the owner.
Leave the property in a reasonably clean and orderly condition.
The mandatory cleaning fee covers standard cleaning only. Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning or damage caused by misuse.
4. Cottage Rules
Renters must respect the property and surrounding neighbours.
All applicable laws and safety requirements must be followed.
Renters are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
The cottage must be left in good condition upon departure, excluding normal wear and tear.
5. Agreement & Acceptance
By signing this agreement, the renter acknowledges and accepts the rental rates, non-refundable booking deposit, cleaning fee, and financial responsibility for damages.
